Electronic music, sound design and technical precision form the foundation of Samuel Tegaro’s work. Starting out on an Amiga 500 in the early 90s, this developed into a long-standing connection with DJing, radio, live sound and music production.
He played his first vinyl gigs at the age of 18 in Cologne clubs. Since then, his work has taken him into radio studios, festivals and international music events. Alongside contributing to station identities and working with artists and bands in radio, he has been involved in live mixing at WOMEX and the technical production of radio broadcasts at festivals such as Juicy Beats. This is complemented by sound design for a range of creative and commercial projects.
As a producer, Samuel Tegaro combines groove and atmosphere with influences from funk, soul and the experimental side of disco and French house.
For mixing and mastering, he combines carefully selected outboard equipment with self-developed plugins, specifically designed for his mixing and mastering workflows.
Elektronische Musik, Sounddesign und technische Präzision bilden die Grundlage von Samuel Tegaros Arbeit. Angefangen auf einem Amiga 500 in den frühen 90ern, entwickelte sich daraus eine langjährige Verbindung zu DJing, Radio, Live-Sound und Musikproduktion.
Seine ersten Vinyl-Gigs spielte er mit 18 in Kölner Clubs. Seitdem führten ihn verschiedene Projekte in Radiostudios, auf Festivals und zu internationalen Musikveranstaltungen. Neben der Mitgestaltung von Sender-Identitäten und der Begleitung von Künstlern und Bands im Radio war er unter anderem für das Live-Mixing bei der WOMEX und die technische Betreuung von Radiosendungen bei Juicy Beats verantwortlich. Ergänzt wird dieses Spektrum durch Sounddesign für kreative und kommerzielle Projekte.
Als Produzent verbindet Samuel Tegaro Groove und Atmosphäre mit Einflüssen aus Funk, Soul und der experimentellen Seite von Disco und French House.
Für Mixing und Mastering kombiniert er sorgfältig ausgewähltes Outboard-Equipment mit selbst entwickelten Plugins, die speziell für den Einsatz in seinen Mixing- und Mastering-Workflows konzipiert sind.
